I heard people say I’m at the end of my rope. I want to live a life of freedom, but you must have wisdom and understanding. This was my conversation this morning as I was sitting before the Lord and asked the Lord the saying about I’m at the end of my rope, ” Where did that come from?” the Spirit of the Lord said it didn’t come from me. So, I did the research because I knew it was not in the Bible. At the end of your rope,’ it’s feeling desperate because you are in a difficult situation and do not know how to deal with it. The usual British expression is at the end of your tether. Meaning everything is dreadful, and I am at the end of my rope. Sometimes, we make remarks or say something, not realizing what it means. This is one way the devil eases in on us without really wanting that door of depression in our lives. You close the door on the Lord and open the door for the devil. The tongue is a small organ, but what you speak, the power can speak life or death in your life.
Thank you for this
Oh, be careful, lift a tongue what you say, thank you for that nugget!
Well said words!!!!!
Mom taught us to always be careful of what we say to ourselves and others. Something so small can cause so much pain.
