God is in control of everyone who opened their eyes this morning. To understand God and power, we must understand “the sovereignty” of God. The sovereignty of God is the fact that the Lord is over creation; sovereign, he exercises his complete. Rule. This rule is exercised through God’s authority as king, control over all things, and presence with covenantal people throughout his creation. He is sovereign over the whole world and everything that happens in it. He is never helpless, never frustrated, never lost. And in Jesus, God’s incredible, sovereign providence is where we feel most respectful, secure, and accessible. God has the power, wisdom, and authority to do anything He chooses within Hiscreation. (Isaiah 14:24)(Isaiah 46:10) Lord, we love You. We know all things will be done in Your time.
