I hope everyone is taking some time to rest. A week of work deserves a time to rest. Spending time with the Lord is a must. We must shut down and allow the Spirit of the Lord to connect with our Spirit. During the week, we run here and there with food in one hand and our computer in the other; we’re getting it done. Now that I’m retired, I can see how little time I spent with the Lord. Now, I talk with people who set aside time before they go to work; instead of lunch, they read the words. Seeing how many people are making it happen by setting quality time aside and making time for the Lord during the workweek is a blessing.
Hallelujah Jesus!! My desire is to draw closer to you daily. Your Love is real, unconditional, joyful, peaceful , happiness and has a calming effect to my mind, body and soul. I’m GRATEFUL for your inspiring me to Rest. There are many day’s that I think I am “Wonder Woman”. I am not able to focus properly, keep my eyes stayed on you without getting proper rest and relaxation.
