We need our joy renewed daily. Joy flows from a deeply rooted conviction that not only does God cause all things to work together for the good of those that love Him, but inherent in joy is the sense of delight in God that can cause our heart to smile even if things on the outside seem to be falling apart (Luke 12). In all of our circumstances, it’s valuable for us to ask ourselves, “Am I relying on my happiness, or does my strength come from the joy of the Lord?” The Bible makes it unmistakably plain that in the last days, the world will be filled with difficulties that have never before been known in the history of humanity (2 Timothy 3:3:1). The Holy Spirit is committed to making sure we understand what will occur in the last days that in Second Timothy 3:1, it is as if he points his prophetic finger thousands of years in the future and foretells explicitly what will occur at the end of the age. Keep yourself in the love of God; take great care( Read Jude chapter 21). (Joy is in God’s presence; God can restore your joy; joy is the result of righteousness; joy is delighting yourself in God’s Word; the Holy Spirit produces joy; joy is in answered prayer.
