“Live to be a Blessing to others”

Happy Jesus Day:
God wants us to take the blessing we have received and share them with others we encounter, especially those in need (Romans 11:13). God promised to bless Abraham but also expand that blessing through Abraham to “ALL” people. We are to continue to be a blessing to others. Blessings should not stop at our door or our hearts but pass them on. A Spirit of gratitude changes our hearts and opens us to how God wants to use us. It allows us to say with purpose and conviction, “Lord, here I am; use me.” To bless others is to follow Jesus when we love and care for others and help and serve others; this is an example of God’s love so that others can follow. The word blessing has multiple meanings; we can also bless, be a blessing, and give blessings to others.
