Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him the power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor, this is a gift from God, for he shall not much remember the days of his life, because God answereth him in the joy of his heart (Ecclesiastes 5:19-20). Enjoy life with the one you love as long as you live the useless life God has given you (Ecclesiastes 9:9-18). Believe me, if you’re not happy with what you’re living on now, I can guarantee you won’t be satisfied with more. Because no matter what you have, you’ll always want a little more. Happiness is a choice. God has better plans, ones we can imagine, and he does things we may not understand but trust in his will. All earthly gifts will disappear. Our health will deteriorate, our money will get used up or passed onto the next generation, nature will decay, cars rust, homes will ruin, and clothes, decorations, and books will fall apart. Nothing on this Earth lasts forever, so don’t value them too highly. Enjoy every day to the fullest.
