When God gives you a sign, you will gain clarity and not more confusion. A common mistake we often make is that we search and search for the meaning of certain events that have happened. We want to know what God is saying through something. It is unwise to look to everything that happens in life for meaning. God can make us understand. If something odd happens and you don’t know what it means, it is more likely this is not a sign from God since God is not the author of confusion. As 1 Corinthians 14:33 says, “God is not the author of confusion but of peace.”2 Timothy 2:7 “Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.” God is the one who gives understanding. When we lack wisdom, we should ask, as James 1:5 states, but sometimes you will remain confused about something because it is not a sign from God, and God has nothing to say about it. When God sends you a sign, you will know what it means because God can make you under it if you ask him for wisdom. If you genuinely seek and follow God coming to Him humbly, God will not send you signs to confuse you. You can always trust God. He knows precisely what will direct you in the exact way he wants us to go.
