“Knowing God for yourself”; the closer you get to God, the better you will understand yourself. God is your creator; the more you know him, the more you understand yourself because you are in his creation. “Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. But whoever loves God is known by God (1 Corinthians 8:2-3). You may ask yourself why you need to “let God know you” if He knows everything about you already. He does know everything about you, but that’s not the same as hearing you share it. God wants a close relationship. He wants to know us intimately. He wants to experience who we are and what we feel.The Bible is God’s Word; his words have a destination: our heart. The Bible teaches us about our thoughts, attitudes, feelings, choices, desires, and motives we carry with us in our hearts.
Thank you Lord God for yesterday’s” Inspirational Nugget”. Having an intimate relationship with God is simply Amazing. My normal routine for prayer is to talk to God ,by being GRATEFUL for his forgiveness of my sins, his grace, mercy, and unconditional love. I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life. As I draw closer to God daily, I often find myself talking to GOD by verbalizing what is going on in my life. Yes, I am aware that he already knows what is going on my life , as Sis. Nettie mentioned earlier. When I allowed myself to open up to GOD honestly about every aspect of my life wether it was good, bad, and or indifferent. I began to see a SHIFT in my circumstances for the better. I realised that God convicted me for coming up short in certain areas of my life, and not being in denial about the facts, fear, and Faith..of the 5 f’s. This allowed him to forgive me daily . Afterwards, I was able to make the word applicable to my life, he allowed me to have so much freedom. Knowledge is power ,and when I know better I am able do better. I’m not a fan of running around in the wilderness needlessly like a chicken with his head cut off🙏🏻👏🏾🙌🏾🎉🎊🎈
