Does God desire what we desire, a life filled with love, happiness, good health, and possessions? Yes, but the controls God wants for us are spiritual, not temporal. Jesus assures us that our heavenly Father is fulfilling our physical needs, and we should not concern ourselves with those things(Matthews 6:25-33). God’s hope for us is not rooted in this world but in His kingdom. God desires that His Word dwells richly in all His children(Colossians 3:16). God’s daily desire for us is to walk in the Spirit; that’s the only way we will not gratify the desires of our flesh, which is continually waging war on our souls. The believer’s life is not easy. It’s hard work to take every captive for Christ and not lose hope and trust Him no matter what. The life God desires for us is lived in and through the power of the Holy Spirit; God’s grace is sufficient and will see us through. God’s desires can overtake us as His presence surrounds us. We can have the life desires for us: a life overflowing with Him. (Know Him-John 14:-11)( Worship and Love Him-James 2:10) (Put Him First-Matthew 6:24)(Obey Him-Psalm 119:12-16) (Love Others-Matthew 22:37) the more time you spend reading God’s word and praying about it, the more you’ll understand God’s will for our life.

WHEEEEEEEE……WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! MY GOD!! MY GOD!!! Lord thank you for your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. I ask that you forgive me for my sins thought, fought, sought, deed, omission and comission. I agree that being a Christian is hard work. Your battle begins each day, the moment we wake up in the morning.(Sis Nettie always says) and she is absolutely correct. However; I would’nt have it any other way. I am so GRATEFUL that I have this intimate relationship with you Lord. In the World I had material wealth, which consisted of a beautiful home ,cars, money ,etc. I gave it all up because with ALL that material wealth that God blessed me with…I was sad, suffered with anxiety, depression, PTSD and a host of other health issues that were brought upon by stress. I didn’t find any RELIEF wherever I turned.
I was mistreated by family members, co-workwers , and the church. I was a lost soul and did not even realize it. The enemy had creeped in like a thief in the night, year after year, for about 20 or more years. This is what happens when I allowed material wealth to be
ahead of GOD. There was a VOID in my life ,and the devil had me thinking I was NOT a lost soul. The void that was missing in my life was GOD. I was out in the WORLD without any covering , trying to handle life on my own…..Yes, I was trying to handle it all on my own. Can you believe that? How foolish was that? God had to allow the enemy to get me to a place where I could focus on him and him alone. He was giving me another chance to get my life right with him. I alway’s knew that GOD had a work for me to do in this world. When GOD has to compete with idols and people..he said he was not going to going to compete to be first in my life. He removed everything that was a hinderance in my life. I was wondering around in the wilderness like a chicken with his head cut off!!! God had to allow me to get TIRED of wandering in the wilderness for all those years, until all I could do was beg for forgiveness and recommit my life to him, and vowed that I would never allow anything or anyone to EVER, EVER, EVER take FIRST place in my life again!! When I reached out to him, he was just there WAITING on me. That is when I LET GO and LET GOD!! When I LET GO and LET GOD my life begin to change for the better. Sometimes, I can get ahead of GOD…. not on purpose though. Sis Nettie is always reminding me to :”STAY OUT OF GOD’s BUSINESS😬😬😬. Whenever she tells me that… I immediately REMOVE myself from his BUSINESS and I feel a since of peace in my spirit. It does’nt always feel good to hear that, but I have to remember that it’s not about me and ALL ABOUT HIM!!! GLORY TO GOD!! I’m learning not to let my emotion’s get involved in this Spiritual Journey of mine. When my emotions are removed there is no way that Satan can slide his way in my head to provide confusion and condemnation. HALLELUJAH JESUS!! I LOVE YOU LORD🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤
God deserves a life of fulfillment for us. But it comes with patience, sacrifices and trust. Because as disciplines of christ there will be time when we will experience being patience, having to sacrifice and trust. Thats when we have to decide are we living the life “God” desires or are we living our own.
Patience is definitely a virtue but through God’s Word we can conquer all things but we have to have faith and patiences to allow God’s work to be done in our lives
