“Self”

Happy Jesus Day:
Which is more critical, Self-worth or Self-value? These are two related terms that are often used interchangeably. Having a sense of self-worth means valuing yourself, and understanding self-value imply that you are worthy. Let’s look at these two words, “Value and Worth” The worth of something will always remain the same, whereas the value of something can fluctuate depending on the person. In the Bible, and still today, not everyone views Jesus as valuable, yet Jesus’s worth never changes. In a word, He’s everything. Jesus tells us that following Him is worth it all (Matthew 16:25). Jesus was secure in who He is, and even when the enemy attacked His sense of self-worth (Matthew chapter 4), it carried no weight because Jesus knew exactly who He was. What is your worth to God? Your worth is Jesus’ own life. Jesus’ worth is fixed and doesn’t change depending on the opinion of others; your worth is also set. This means your worth never changes to God. Your worth is rooted in something much more profound than someone’s opinion of you; your worth is rooted in the unwavering belief in God.

  1. WHEEEEEEEEEEE…..WEEEEEEEEEE!! MY GOD!! MY GOD!! Thank you Lord God for you knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. What is my worth to God? My worth to God is better than something that I value. Jesus gave his life for me when he died on the cross for my sins. He knew my worth when I was in my mother’s womb. He always knew I was WORTHY!! I had to believe it within my self. The way God sees and loves me unconditionally will never change!! Hallelujah Jesus!! My self worth is more important than the opinion of other’s. I’ve been there and done that!! When I was trying to be a people pleaser(never again).Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy!!! Your opinion of me will never change. If you said it in your word….It is truth and will never waiver… like the opinion of man. I’m so GRATEFUL that you have allowed me to see my own Worth!!!πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽˆ. 2. It took me years to accept who I was because of the opinions of others. I didn’t look like, talk like, or walk like everyone else. But I won’t go back. I am God’s Masterpiece. He loves ME!!!❀️
