Early this morning, around four a.m. I saw myself in a beautiful field of flowers. I heard a voice say pick you a bunch of flowers; I could smell how sweet they smelled. I tried to wake up, but I couldn’t open my eyes. I heard the voice “say,” go ahead, pick a bunch of those flowers as I bent down to pick the flowers. I chose a big bunch holding them up to my face. The voice said, aren’t they beautiful? I thought they were pretty, the voice said, the roots were dead. They are beautiful on the top, but they come from dead roots. I didn’t know how to respond; how could such beautiful flowers come from dead roots? The voice said some believers are like flowers dressed up on the outside but dead on the inside. Christ can not reside in a dead house, no matter how beautiful the outside is. Like the flowers, the top is gorgeous, but the roots in the ground are over. We can dress up in beautiful outfits to show the outside. Being beautiful on the outside serves no purpose in living for Christ; just like the flowers will wither up and die, so will we. We must accept Christ as our Lord and Savior and invite Him to come into life in our hearts so that the outside will reflect the inside. “God Knows”
Lord I don’t want to be dead or lukewarm inside. I’m grateful that You didn’t give up on me and You show me Your love every moment of every day! To God be the Glory!!!!
Oh Lord!! Help me to stay rooted and grounded in You because I can’t bear fruit on my own. I need to stayed connected to You. Help me continue to stir up the gift in me with your Word, Worship and Prayer!!🙏🏾
This reminds me of people dressed in sheep clothing and they are really the wolf! I want God’s light to shine from the top of the flower all the way down through the roots, in other words from the inside out!! Thank you Jesus 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
WHEEEEEEEEE….WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! MY GOD!! MY GOD!!! LORD HAVE MERCYYYYY!! Thank you Lord God for your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Who would have thought??? Sooooo…. Lord your telling me that I I can be beautiful externally…but dead internally???? MY GOD!! MY GOD!!! I am so very GRATEFUL that I have and will continue to make you the head of my life. Please continue to purge me of anything that is not of you daily!!! I don’t ever want to be beautiful flowers on the outside and my roots are dead. As I reflect back over my life… I was in that place of being beautiful externally and internally dead!!! BUT GOD!! HALLELUJAH JESUSSSSS!!! Thank you Lord for allowing my beautiful flowers externally to match internally.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
