Don’t be like Jonah when God calls you; His purpose will be for filled; it’s your choice of how you get there. It will be done in God’s way. Who was Jonah? He was proud, stubborn, disobedient, unfaithful, a grumber, and altogether a bad-tempered, cantankerous old curmudgeon-this was Jonah, whose name means “dove”! (Joshua 19:10-13) Jonah’s story is told in the short 48 verses; this is a powerful story about how Jonah tried to run from God. It is about a disobedient prophet who rejected his divine commission (calling), was cast overboard in a storm, swallowed up by a great fish, recused marvelously, and returned to his starting point. God called Jonah to go and warn the violent and godless Ninevites of their impending doom, all his pride in being a Hebrew. The book of Jonah is divided into four sections 1. Jonah’s Disobedience and Flight (1: 1-16) Jonah’s Prayer (2:1-11) (Jonah’s Obedience and the Ninevites’ Repentance (3:1-10) Jonah’s Anger and God’s Reproof (4:1-11). Read the book of Jonah to understand there are four chapters.

Thank you Lord God for giving me a road map to navigate through my Spiritual Journey in life. I don’t want to be like Jonah who was disobedient, a grumbler and ,etc. In my opinion he walked through the wilderness needlessly like a chicken with his head cut off. I want to please you by being obedient to your WILL and not my own. It’s all about you JESUS. As I reflect back through my life for the last almost 30 years, I became a lost soul, which affected every area of my life. It was like a domino effect that all came crashing down!!! My health had deteriorated and I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression from all the Stress in my life. I had no relief ANYWHERE… no matter which way I turned !!!! WHEEEEEE…WEEEEEEEEE!! BUT GOD!!!!🙏🏻 MY GOD!! MY GOD!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 HALLELUJAH JESUS !!! Thank you for Healing me of anything that was not of you..Mind, Body, and Soul!!! When I am following your plan it will always be right plan….no if’s and or but’s about it!! I don’t have to walk around in the wilderness like a chicken with my head cut off!! The road map that you have for me will always be the best plan !!. I am so GRATEFUL to you Lord God for RESTORATION and being the #1 person in my life forever🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🎉🎊🎈!! YOU ARE WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!
The first thing I noticed was Jonah tried to get away from the presence of God!!! 🤣🤣🤣. Where could he go!! Where can we go!! There are no hiding places.

We all have had our own “Jonah” experiences in our lives. But one thing for sure when God gives us” his assignment “not our. We try and run the other direction. But GOD has his way of getting us to his destination even when we take our own detour.
