“Your prayer for someone may not change them, but it will always change you.” We develop the habit of praying to God for others. One of the greatest gifts we can give each other is to pray for one another. Praying for others is not only a blessing for us but also a part of a believer’s life. We are to carry one another burdens (Galatians 6:2; Job 42:10). We should pray for each other’s comfort, salvation, healing, safety, and many different reasons. God uses prayer to align our hearts to His will. For example, we can pray for someone to come to know God or that God will allow their lost loved one to go home.
Thank You Father for creating in me a clean heart and reforming my mind to be able to pray for others especially those who form weapons against me. I know that you are with me at all times and I also know it is not always about me. So Father please continue reforming my mind as I continue to pray that your will be done for others and that they seek right relationship with You through Jesus Christ.
