We all have someone that we love in the world that’s lost. The world has a stronghold on them. We get frustrated sometimes, but we can’t give up on them because Christ didn’t give up on us. The truth is, we all have sin problems. That’s why we need Jesus so much. But if someone you love is trapped in a pattern of sin or refuses to repent, the stakes are high. So when you don’t know what to pray, pray God’s word. Here are some ways to pray for someone you love who can’t or cannot break free. 1. Pray for them to see their sin as God sees it (Isaiah 59: 2). 2. Pray for their heart to be softened (Ezekiel 36: 26). 3. Pray for them to recognize the kindness of God (Romans 2: 4).
