We need the Lord to help us daily. There should never be a time when we don’t seek His guidance daily; we can not make it without Him. When we are sad, He gives us joy. When we are sick, He has the power to heal us. When our life is filled with painful circumstances that overcome us, He can lift us above our troubles and give us peace. The word says (John 15:5), “I am the vine, you are the branches, whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Dear Lord, I need you today. I need your direction and your counsel. And I need your wisdom. I believe that you, the counselor, are in me. Guide me today in your will. In Jesus’ Name.
