Happy Jesus Day:

It’s good to acknowledge the word by saying “Amen” but make sure you understand why you said Amen. What does “Amen” actually mean? It is a Hebrew word from the Hebrew root “AMN,” which stands for stability and means “so be it.” “I agree,” “let it be so.” Thus, when we say “Amen” at the end of our prayers, we ask God to “please. let it be as we have prayed”. In the Old Testament, the word “Amen” is linked with praise (1 Chronicle 16: 36.) In the New Testament, “Amen ” is connected with praising and glorifying God and referring to the second coming and end of the age (Revelation 22: 20-21.) I believe saying “Amen” at the end of a prayer tells God I trust and think He will help my prayer in His perfect way.

  1. To this message I say thank You Lord. I’m so grateful for The knowledge that I have gained thus far, and as I look forward to continued growth, I pray that I stay focused on my journey with You and I’m grateful for each and every day. In Jesus Name I pray, AMEN!
