Let the spirit of peace and joy fill your daily lives. Let’s pray that the excitement of this season continues to bring closeness to families and friends as they gather together. This is the season for giving. How wonderful it would be if every day were like this. Jesus promises His children peace and joy. His promise of peace is in (John 14: 27). And His promise of joy is in (John 17: 13). As Christmas approaches, let us not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season this year and miss the chance to celebrate the gift of hope, peace, joy, love, that sent us on the first Christmas. That first Christmas, you gave us the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Thank you, Father, for your immeasurable contribution. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen
