I pray you are having a blessed day. I praise God for my life today, hoping for a better day tomorrow. A thought for today “What if you had no “Treasures” stored up in Heaven” (Matthew 6:20-24). What would be the first thing you would do? God provides hidden things we do not ask for or know we need (Ephesians 3: 20). God can do beyond all we ask or think. God equips us spiritually. He gives us all we need for every good work (Ephesians 6: 10-12). He provides an escape from temptation (1 Corinthians 10: 13). He gives us the necessary discipline to bring correction to our spiritual life. (Hebrews 12: 6-11). And God provides us with His constant love and care (1 Peter 5:6-7). Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3: 5-6).
Wow! The first thing I would do is cry out to the Lord…Father I am grateful for your provisions and constant care for my wellbeing. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Profound!! What would I do if I did not have any treasures stored in Heaven? Firstly, I would research “treasures stored in heaven” to see if I actually had any treasures stored in heaven to be able to reply to this question. Treasures stored in heaven are: 1.I Need a New Heart, 2.Help the Poor and those in Need, 3.Take Risks that Will Honor God, 4. Live a Simple Life, 5.Seek the kingdom of God First, 6.Trusts the promises of God and Do Not Be ANXIOUS… WHEEEEEE WEEEEEEE!!! #6. After self reflection…I need to work on #6, the part that reads do not be ANXIOUS😬😬. Lord help me to not be anxious for anything.🙏🏻🙏🏻 Treasures stored in heaven will not pass away or be corrupt or fade away. They are eternal. Treasures on Earth are those things that we pay more attention to such as having excessive vehicles, handbags, jewelry and etc. I can’t take these materialistic items with me to heaven… because I will be six feet under. These items will fade away and become corrupt.😥. Thank you Lord for this blog. I was able to gain wisdom ,knowledge and understanding.
