The meaning is so clear: The Father and the Son live in us, not a Third Person of the Trinity. This is in context after Jesus says, ” I will send another Comforter even the Spirit of truth” ( John 14: 16-18). We have been given what we need to overcome. We all need the Comforter in our spiritual walk praise God for the comforter. According to {John 14:26} the Holy Spirit is called the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father said He would send in His name. The Holy Ghost is our helper, counselor, comforter, and advocate. He does more than comforter He also guide, seals, baptizes, regenerates, sanctifies, and convicts. God comforts His children we can know His peace even amid trials. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trouble so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort through Christ”(2 Corinthians 1: 3-5)
