So often ministers like to share their past as sinners. They share with their congregation about how once they sinned. What people want to see today is your life as a saved believer, which should speak for who you are today, and not your past. So often people are looking for hope for today and not hope for yesterday which is their past. “A thought for today is letting your life speak to the present and not the past.” Our life should draw people to Christ instead of giving them little hope for today. Because the past always will show up to remind us of the past. Live your life as a believer and it will speak for you for today and the future and not your past.
