Evils spirits are part of satan’s dark forces who are enemies of God and His purpose. Evil spirits promote corruption, malice, and depravity in the world and in humans. The devil works subtly read Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 11: 13-14, Satan and the devil, utterly corrupt and wholeheartedly intent on destroying if he could, the plan of God and the people of God. Ephesians 6: 12 tells us we do not wrestle against flesh and blood; Luke 11: 34 tells us that our eyes are the lamp of your body; Ephesians 5: 8 tells us to walk as children of light; Acts 26: 18 says to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy Revelation 12: 9 devil and satan are called the deceiver of the whole world. 2 Timothy 3: 10-17 tells us that evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. The enemy we face is a defeated foe satan who has been bound through God’s judgment and through the cross; and is being bound through the preaching of the gospel; and will be bound for eternity. We really do wrestle against principalities and powers Ephesians 6: 12 but the devil and his forces have never been outside God’s control.
