Spiritual Joy is a feeling of good pleasure and happiness that is dependent on who Jesus is rather than on who we are or what is happening around us. Joy comes from the Holy Spirit, abiding in God’s presence, and from hope in His word. Joy satisfies the heart in a way that temporary happiness never can John 15: 11. Joy is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in us nothing else can bring lasting joy. When we obey God’s commandments, we will experience the joy of the Holy Spirit. When we obey His commandments to love one another, we are striving to obey and live according to His Word. Ask God to fill you daily with His everlasting JOY.
