Do we understand what it means to give up ourselves and our desires Mark 8: 34. In Today’s culture and society people are consumed with self. They work at trying to be all they can be by genuinely trying to become better, they are preoccupied with themselves. Colossians 3: 9-10 shows us about the old and new selves. We should not have high esteem for the weak and venerable flesh Mark 14: 36 we need to find our confidence and hope in Jesus. If we are struggling with { self-hate and self-loathing}, we need to see our lives in the light that Jesus brings in we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Remember we are crucified with Christ Galatians 2:20.
