From Affliction to Purpose part 2

Happy Jesus Day:
While I was going through my affliction in 2017 several things happen to me but, God is patience so why can’t we be patience and wait on God. There is a saying; that if you don’t move and do what God has called you to do He will use someone else. I now question that saying because, if God has called you the word says, He will not forsake you or leave you alone. God is true to His word He never left me even when I was Disobedient. When I was stricken and near death, on Oxygen for nine years and seven days He was right there. When my eyes open and I realized He needed two things from me to keep my Promise and be Obedient once that happen I was healed of COPD and Sleep Apnea on October 5, 2017. I had to stop running after a Resources (pay check) and realize HE is my Source. That meant starting a Blog, Teaching a Bible study and eventually doing a Podcast. I don’t have an agenda anymore, I wake up every morning and ask God what’s on His agenda for me today. So allow God to move you into your purpose and don’t get discouraged He is a patience God.

  1. I can truly understand this post by my ” Mom”. Please let me explain! God’s agenda for my life during this period. After numerous of job interviews prior to August of 2018 in which I interviewed for a Supervisor position and did not get it. I had to stop trying to make things happen through my own agenda because I wanted another job. It was then I realized that God had a planned agenda for my life. During that 3 year period of Aug 2018- Aug 2021 I didn’t apply for any jobs I just focused on fulfilling God’s purpose by being obedient. That’s when I received that unexpected call in Aug 2021 about a job that I interviewed for 3 years ago in Aug 2018 in which the position title changed from a Supervisor position to Assistant District Administrator position. God knew that I wasn’t ready in 2018 so for the next 3 years he filled my purpose with his agenda so I can walk into my blessing in Aug 2021. Obedient to God is better than sacrificing for your own agenda!

    1. What a Blessing! When we finally understand that everything is going to be done in God’s time and God’s way, it will help us as we endure the journey and hold on to the fact that God will keep us through it ALL!

  2. WOW Travis!! Thank you for sharing your testimony on the blog. From Affliction to Purpose Part 2. It was very encouraging and really lines up the post from your “Mom” about being patient and waiting on God . This testimony was really for me! It is a reminder to me that I need to stop trying to make things happen on my own and in my time frame. In other words me walking ahead of GODπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ “My Agenda”instead of HIS AGENDA!!

CONGRATULATIONS on your new job position as ASSITANT DIRECTOR ADMINISTRATOR. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ What a blessing to know that GOD can and will grant us with the very best…way beyond our wildest dreams. “WON’T HE DO IT”!!! WILL HE WON’T!!
