The Unpayable Debt

We rush through life worried about our debt to man. but how often have you thought about your debt to Jesus. There’s the house note, car note, bank note but what about Jesus note.

We often sign contracts with man making commitments and obtaining goods of the world. Jesus contract gives you enteral life just by accepting Him; reading the Bible and living by the word of God to receive uncountable blessings.

We know-how we are suppose to pay man but, how do you pay Jesus? Hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or just once a year? We often rush to pay our bills ahead of time to avoid interest or late charges. How often have you rushed to pay Jesus for what He did for you? The interest is uncountable and there’s never a late fee.

We often lie to our debtor to keep them off our back then turn around and expect Jesus to carry us on His. Who can love you no matter how poor you are; how broke you are; or even with your bad credit …”JESUS”.

Then you have those that measure you according to your Status or how rich you are. Jesus tells us to come as you are bad credit, no credit, poor, lame and sick. So next, time you sit down to figure out your debt to man, write Jesus in one column and man in the next. Write how much you owe, and how much you have. Then look at Jesus, He continues to pay forever more.

Jesus carried the cross for you but, will you bare the cross for Him?

  1. Jesus doesn’t stress us about about our debt to Him. I’m grateful that God is merciful when we loose track of the cost that Jesus paid for our Salvation. We have our trials and tribulations (the consequences of our actions), but Glory to God and Thank you Jesus for keeping us from being lost!
